TheWrap's Marketing & Events Division is growing! We're looking for a talented Marketing Manager who has an understanding of the entertainment industry landscape and a passion for film and television with their finger on the pulse of the cultural zeitgeist.
Responsibilities:
•Create marketing campaigns and collateral (media kits, decks, invites, emails, house ads, social assets, etc.) for TheWrap's industry leading events and offerings, in collaboration with events/programming/sales team
•Execute to plan, including creative requests, copywriting and deliverable audits
•Manage marketing content calendars, including collaboration with social/production teams
•Maintain accurate and up to date marketing platforms demonstrating strength of Wrap content/events
•Review content themes and target demographics in order to effectively communicate with and engage audience/partners; manage related deliverables
•Set targets and analyze results post-event
Key Characteristics and Skills:
•Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Marketing Manager role
•Experience working in the Entertainment industry
•Bachelor's degree
•Self-starter, forward thinking and highly organized with demonstrated proficiency in event/sales marketing
•Possess a can-do attitude; a proactive, solution-oriented problem solver
•Skilled working with celebrities and high-level entertainment talent/clients
•An exceptional writer, communicator, and creative thinker
•Able to work within a matrixed team, partnering with events, sales, and creative/graphic design teams
•Thrive in high pressure situations and competently juggle competing priorities
•Familiarity with and comfortable using: Google Creative Suite, Canva, Splash That (event marketing platform), Campaign Monitor (email marketing platform), bonuses: Adobe Suite, Google Analytics, Balsamiq (wireframe software)
