Job Summary:
We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional in Media and Entertainment, responsible for delivering a portfolio of consultative services in support of various Studio Content and Information Security initiatives.
The Sr. Analyst, Content & Information Security, reports into the Senior Manager, Content & Information Security, as part of the Content & Information Security team at The Walt Disney Studios based in Burbank.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Content Security solutions to Studio segment teams during the production and distribution lifecycles across a myriad of business units
• Provide consistent policy governance and execution of Content Security policies with domestic and international business units and colleagues
• Liaise with third-party post-production vendors and security consultants to gather current state process details
• Provide technical guidance and strategic insight on content distribution workflows in collaboration with business units
• Determine secure distribution strategies to accommodate ad hoc content distribution requests
• Liaise with production and post production teams as needed to ensure that security best practices are applied to complex and dynamic environments
• Proactive industry research to maintain knowledge of current and evolving technologies in the production and distribution environment
• Remain well-versed in standard industry workflows for on-set production, post production, marketing, distribution, and in-home distribution
• Study emerging technology trends and evaluate impact on current business, technology or projects
• Ensure that observed content handling risks, incidents, and exception requests are documented and execute plans to mitigate risks
• When requested, assist in content breach incident investigations, with reporting to executive management
• Provide policy management input, including updates to existing policies as well as development of new policies
• Ensure that training and guidelines are communicated to the necessary stakeholders
• Implement security best practices for high priority and high visibility workflows as requested
• Coordinate content security efforts for high-profile internal and industry events
• Leverage cross-functional subject matter expertise across the Studio Content & Information Security team to ensure that information regarding application & cloud security, 3rd party site security, internal facility security, and business requirements are applied to active business workflows and Studio policies
• Document content workflows across the pre-release creative and business lifecycle and perform risk analysis
• Ensure that visibility into workflows is maintained and updated through check-ins with teams at a regular cadence
• Summarize findings and strategic recommendations in executive-facing decks
• Drive the assessment, testing, and implementation of content protection technologies, which could include formal solution selection, POCs, implementation, test planning, and user change management
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of secure digital media transfer technologies and workflows, e.g., Aspera, Signiant, AWS, etc.
• Process analysis and documentation skills, using tools such as Visio or Omnigraffle
• Experience conducting current state process interviews and workshops and translating meeting notes into graphical process flows
• Knowledge of production and post-production workflows
• Knowledge of systems and network security
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and trends
• Ability to work in a dynamic evolving environment on an international scale
• Solid business acumen
• Knowledge of studio IT systems, including production and post-productions environments
• Knowledge of feature film production and post-production industries, services, and workflows (e.g., editing, visual/audio effects, encoding, dubbing, DVD/BD replication)

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience successfully managing content security in a television or theatrical production environment would be preferred. Fewer than 3 years of content security experience should be supplemented by 2 years of relevant post production or distribution operations roles in film and television OR media & entertainment management/IT consulting
Required Education
• Media & Entertainment Industry Experience
• Bachelor's degree in TV & Film, Engineering or Technology, Communication or Business or equivalent experience required
• CISSP, CISM certification is a plus
