We are seeking a Print/Digital Designer who will be responsible for adapting & localizing print & digital artwork assets for use in domestic and international markets. This job holder will become an expert on artwork servicing strategies, localization complexities and tackling unique challenges of a varied catalog of titles. In addition, this person will need to work on special projects, creating project plans and tracking project progress.
Responsibilities:
• Modifying & updating existing graphic elements
• Oversee the design and delivery process from beginning to end
• Prepare and communicate production status to management
• Coordinating project plans and meeting milestone production dates
• Working in multiple workflows based on resources and demand
• Maintain effective communication with management
• Inform of key issues as they arise
• Ensure delays/concerns are brought to senior management attention early
• Consider possible solutions when identifying problems
• Be able to work effectively with vendors, clients and other Designers in the editing and completion of assets
• Must be detail oriented and be able to work in a deadlines driven environment
• Is knowledgeable and realistic when balancing client demands with creative and qualitative integrity
• Uses a wide range and depth of technical or specialized expertise to resolve problems
• Understands relationships among several parts of a problem
• Sees patterns that help to explain the root caused of complex issues
• Applies creative, practical solutions to solve problems that are not obvious to others
• Brings the right people together to address issues and concerns
• Work on a variety of assignments, balancing daily graphics with long-term projects
• Ad hoc projects on request independent of day-to-day production
Basic Qualifications:
• Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Project Tracking Apps, Google Sheets
• Expertise in type & fonts
• Strong Compositional Skills
• Previous experience in a planning or scheduling function within a production organization
• Prior experience with adapting & localizing assets for global distribution a plus
Required Education
• 4 years of formal education in the field of graphics & post-production or 6 years equivalent experience
