Job Summary:
We're looking for an experienced recruiting consultant/firefighter/magician/business partner/farmer/hunter – or, as some would call it, A Rock Star Tech Recruiter! This is not an opportunity for the faint of heart. Making magic requires skills, and amazing is the benchmark. We want super hero recruiters who are willing to challenge the status quo, innovate new solutions, and make a positive impact in our search for top talent to infuse into our workforce.
Our Disney Campus Recruiters are responsible for the full-life cycle recruitment process while searching for interns who are talented in both technical and soft skills. As a member of the Campus Recruitment Tech Team you will partner with tech hiring managers, HR Business Partners, recruiting team members, and external partners to attract and acquire world class talent. The pursuit of which incorporates use of industry best practices along with advanced recruiting strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Consult and partner with tech hiring leaders in the development of recruiting strategies, search execution, candidate slate development, candidate assessment, offer package creation, and candidate closing.
• Facilitate the research and implementation of recruiting best practices throughout the organization.
• Create and manage relationships with universities, and technical and diversity organizations.
• Plan and attend campus recruiting events.
• Keep abreast of employment laws and industry best practices to manage competitive advantage.
• Create and compile bi-weekly reports to track metrics and goals for clients and campus.
Basic Qualifications:
• Recruiting experience within software engineering disciplines and technical roles.
• 2-3 years of full-life cycle recruiting experience and demonstrated success recruiting students.
• Proficiency with utilizing an applicant tracking system to manage end-to-end hiring process.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to travel locally and nationally in support of technical and diversity career events. Travel up to 30% (mostly in Fall recruitment season).
• Demonstrated experience utilizing technology such as mobile devices/applications, web resources, virtual environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience with managing hiring process in compliance with EEO and AAP guidelines.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related degree.
Preferred Education
• HR Certification (HRCI or SHRM).
