Job Summary:
We have an exciting new role for a Schedule Manager to join our dynamic programming team based in Stockholm. The Scheduling Manager has scheduling responsibility for linear and non-linear schedule for our Kids Pay TV channels in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for scheduling strategy for our linear and non-linear output for Disney Channel in Norway, Sweden and Denmark in close cooperation with the Senior Programme Manager Pay TV Factual & Kids to ensure all content is utilized in best possible way both with regards to commercial attractiveness, cross platform viewing and financials.
• Responsible for programme management systems, and overall responsible for keeping the information correct and up to date at any given time, both for linear and non-linear channels.
• Work closely with marketing and On-Air departments to create awareness and viewing for Disney Channel. Responsible for keeping all departments informed and up to date on schedules and plans. Work closely with Presentation Scheduler Pay TV Kids and Schedule Coordinator Factual & Kids to ensure we have best possible viewer experience on the channel. Flag any issues or challenges to Senior Programme Manager Pay TV Factual & Kids.
• Be a proactive member of the entertainment scheduling team to ensure we have the best possible viewer experience and commercial attractiveness for our channels. Participate and contribute in pan-Nordic programming task groups.
• Keeping all programme information updated in our Programme Management System
• Keeping all other departments informed about our schedules and priorities
Skills and Experience
• Significant experience in broadcast television, preferably from broadcast schedule planning
• Strong passion for television. Experience working in an international environment is an advantage
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Experience from broadcast management system is an advantage (IBMS, OnAir, What's On)
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel in particular.
