Manager, Talent Development & Diversity (PH)
Job Summary:
As member of the Corporate Leadership and Organization Development team, this individual will be responsible for talent development, talent planning and diversity & inclusion for the corporate functions of The Walt Disney Company.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Talent Planning process and Succession development, including outputs such as talent planning, targeted development, executive coaching, mentoring, or other corporate strategies
• Drive the D&I strategy and provide HR expertise and support for employee resource groups
• Support the execution of OD and engagement strategies, including supporting employee survey, client org designs and other relevant change management strategies
• Partner closely with the enterprise COEs to deliver shared accountabilities
• Interface primarily with other members of the team, colleagues across the enterprise, and members of the HRBP and HR community
Basic Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience of relevant talent development and/or diversity experience
• Experience developing and implementing successful talent and diversity strategies in a fast-paced environment, on budget and on time
• Organizational and process management skills as demonstrated by an ability to manage multiple detailed projects and drive towards deadlines
• Experience navigating the HR generalist and specialty partner structure and dynamics
• Experience as a strategic partner to senior clients
• Excellent consulting and project management skills are critical for success
• Strong business acumen and collaborative style to build relationships and quickly gain credibility with key stakeholders across functional and organizational lines
• Current on best practices within the talent and diveristy community and able to adapt and evolve such practices within different organizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt messages
• Strong understanding of the theories and principles used in the diagnosing and prescription of organizational development and leadership interventions
Required Education
• BA/BS degree is required, preferably in Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, Organization Behavior, Human Resources, or related field
Preferred Education
• MA/MS degree is preferred, preferably in Organization Development, Management and Leadership, Human Resources, or related field
