Job Summary:
We have a fantastic and unique opportunity for a HR Manager, Projects, OD & Wellbeing to join The Walt Disney HR Team.. This role reports to the Senior Manager, ER & Wellbeing and is based in Disney's EMEA head offices in Hammersmith, London.
The role will track and manage all the key HR project deliverables, through a robust project management process, supporting the HR lead and the business lead for each of these projects and resource groups. Projects will include the employee survey, talent planning, Learning Expo and Employee Wellbeing.
In addtion, this role will be responsible for the project management of the Employee/Business Resource Groups within the Company and experience of this would be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
• Tracks and manages all HR projects using project management processes and skills, as directed, this role works closely with both the HRBP teams and the COE's in HR to ensure a collaborative 'one team' approach
• Relationship management with key HR stakeholders to ensure we engage with functions that our projects will impact on
• Manages all company Employee/Business Resource Groups such as Women at Disney, Pride and Diversity & Inclusion
• Manages annual events such as the Learning Expo, Women's Week, Diversity at Disney etc.
• Develops compelling Employee Communications, working in conjunction with the Corporate communications team
• Apply commercial thinking and an understanding of all business areas to provide pragmatic and informed HR solutions and ideas.
• Development of projects that improve team performance, organizational redesign, change management and internal communication. This role will work with both HR and the business to identify problems, facilitate necessary meetings and help the business to achieve the desired state.
Management of any other ad-hoc HR projects as required by the UK HR team
• Drive and manage talent acquisition activities including proactively supporting Talent Management reviews and activities.
• Promote the HR service through the appropriate communication of key achievements and successes. Develop a culture of feedback which will enable ongoing improvement of the HR service and ensure a consistently high quality of service delivery to clients.
• Manage and support wellbeing activities across all COE areas and ensure these are impactful on a positive working environment for all groups
• Support for the HR team for any organizational re-structures and TUPE transfer situations
• Management of any other ad-hoc HR projects as required by the UK HR team
Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and people management skills
• Project Management experience (Prince2 or equivalent methodolgies are advantageous)
• Fast and effective relationship builder across all levels
• Excellent attention to detail and able to deliver and manage project plans and trackers that are fit for purpose and support the project leaders
• Well-organised and able to manage multiple projects/relationships
• Demonstrable track record of delivering value-adding HR solutions
• Familiar with relevant HR-oriented technologies and computer literate (Experience of SAP is desirable).
• Understanding of operational HR
