Job Summary:
A Global Mobility Partner will be the primary point of contact for all business partners, relocatees and visa holders within a segment of the TWDC. They will be closely connected to their assigned segment, enabling them to develop deep partnerships, to understand strategy and to align solutions with business strategy. Specifically, a GMP will collaborate with their business partners to consult on mobility planning, strategies, and budgets, as well as to develop creative solutions to business needs such as group moves and new business ventures both within the US and internationally. In addition, they will provide direction to their segment to ensure key factors are considered when moving employees, such as business drivers, consistency, and appropriate level of spend. The GMP will also oversee the foreign national populations within their segments. They will partner with HR, Legal, and segment management to onboard new hires and to maintain lawful presence and work authorization in the United States. They will also work to determine the most strategic courses of action for maintaining foreign nationals in the US and at TWDC beyond their work visa expirations.
Responsibilities:
• Actively engage in segment meetings to build relationships, understand business priorities and align solutions with business strategy. Provide ongoing relocation updates.
• Collaborate with business partners to develop mobility plans, strategies, and budgets.
• Partner with HR in talent assessment and succession planning processes to support segment(s) with movement of talent (within the US and internationally) within segments and across the enterprise.
• Provide direction to the business to ensure key factors are considered when moving employees, such as business drivers, consistency, and appropriate level of spend. Where appropriate, identify challenges or barriers to mobility and offer creative solutions.
• Educate business partners on various aspects of relocation with a goal of improving efficiency and level of service to clients.
• Develop creative solutions to address mobility needs resulting from business transactions, such as group moves, new business ventures and or special programs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for relocatees and their families. Explain relocation benefits and become familiar with the specific needs of each relocatee. Leverage mobility subject matter specialization as well as network of contacts (vendors, Tax, Attorneys, Benefits) to address unique concerns or challenges.
• Oversee each move within a segment, including giving direction to mobility representatives to ensure all move components are addressed and that the relocatee has a positive experience.
• Partner with GM Sr. Manager to coach, develop and evaluate GM Representatives.
• Serve as primary point of contact for designated business segments for all work related to US immigration; i.e. general questions, employee-specific inquiries, onboarding new hires, transferring visas, changes in immigration law, etc.
• Partner with Disney Legal to assemble files, investigate matters, and communicate appropriate messages to business units.
• Allocate work to Immigration Specialists to move files along, and raise concerns to Senior Manager, US Immigration when complications arise.
Basic Qualifications:
• 7 years experience in either relocation, HR or talent acquisition
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• GMS, CRP, PHR, SPHR

Required Education
• 4 year undergraduate degree
Preferred Education
• 4 year undergraduate or masters degree
