Department Overview:
The Organization & Talent Solutions and Diversity & Inclusion team is responsible for learning & development, talent management, organization development, people insights and diversity & inclusion. Our mission is to make Direct-to-Consumer & International a great place to work and help individuals grow their careers. We support our global workforce with over 50 offices around the world in partnership with our HR centers of excellence and regional HR partners to deliver a world-class employee experience, no matter where you are in the world.
Responsibilities:
People Analytics:
• Partner with HR Business Partners, HR Functional Partners and Business Leaders to determine which people insights are more relevant for the business
• Work with O&TS teams globally and our People Insights COE to deploy Disney employee life-cycle pulse surveys for: candidate experience, on-boarding, employee experience and exit surveys in a way that supports DTCI and the businesses we serve
• Partner with internal communications to deploy communications approach to educate leaders, employees and HR teams globally on the tools, dashboards and portal site
Knowledge Management:
• Help launch and manage the O&TS portal to support O&TS teams globally and HRBPs in providing real time access to critical tools and resources 24/7 around the world
• Define effective means for regular updates with O&TS teams globally and other key stakeholder to ensure regular on-going communications around the world
• Help to identify new/updated processes that increase agility, speed and are focused on the employee and their experience as well as the stakeholders we support
• Assist the Org Development team with various projects as need to support change, transition and integration-related activities as needed.
• Work with and on task teams associated with various related projects and initiatives (i.e. deployment of inclusion index, leadership surveys, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
• Graduate degree or advanced learning in field of human resources, people analytics, research, organization development, organizational behavior or related field.
• Must bring strong consumer-centric mindset to the work and design thinking.
• Must bring strong analytical mind and organizational skills, initiative and entrepreneurial thinking and able to navigate a complex and dynamic environment.
• Strong detail orientation while also being able to demonstrate concept and data-driven storytelling to help deliver insights in a powerful way that lead to action and results
• Must have experience and understanding of statistics, qualitative (focus groups) and quantitative (surveys) people research and understanding of validity and reliability.
• Must have basic MS Office experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
User experience research, knowledge or experience
People Analytics survey experience including Qualtrix
Experience in creative software solutions like Adobe
Additional Information:
• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
• Program Dates: Interns must be fully available from September 2019 to January 2020.
• Housing: Interns must provide their own housing for the duration of their internship program.
• Transportation: Interns must have reliable transportation to get to and from work for the duration of their internship program.
