The Global Mobility organization is responsible for the relocation and immigration needs of Disney talent across
the Disney Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life…
This role is responsible for assisting all areas of the Global Mobility team with daily administrative functions in direct support of our international, immigration and domestic assignees and their families.
• Support international and domestic mobility matters
• Track and coordinate visa and green card documentation
• Request government filing fee checks
• Learn to work in the relocation case management system and support the roll out of new system modules
• Support implementation of new international relocation policies
• Provide a high level of customer service when assisting internal clients, employee and candidates
• Write content and develop visual design for internal communications including presentations
• Conduct data analysis and research as required
• Support special projects and reports as needed
• Provide support to various tasks including data entry, reporting, and administrative work
• Create and run Ad Hoc reports from APro, as instructed and needed
Basic Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter
• Ability to multi-task in a highly fluid environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Client service orientation
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with use or implementation of database systems
• Cross-cultural experience
• Interest in Global Mobility processes, including relocation, immigration, tax, finance, etc.
Required Education
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Business, Human Resources or closely related field
Preferred Education
• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Business, Human Resources or closely related field.
Additional Information:
• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
• Program Dates: Interns must be fully available from Aug/Sept 2019 to December 2019 /January 2020.
• Housing: Interns must provide their own housing for the duration of their internship program.
• Transportation: Interns must have reliable transportation to get to and from work for the duration of their internship program.
