Job Summary:
Do you remember being in college, with the excitement of a new future on the horizon? How about applying for work experiences, then waiting for the phone to ring? What if you could be on the ''offering'' end, helping to change a life?
As a Campus Recruiter, you would use your unique talent to find the right person for our Professional Intern roles. Our Campus Recruiters are responsible for the full life-cycle of the internships they fill, from refining the role to letting the lucky candidate know they got the job!
This position currently reports to the Campus Manager.
Responsibilities:
You would join a highly collaborative team of recruiters from all over the country that works together to match the newest, brightest talent to some of the most important roles at The Walt Disney Company. We literally change lives every day by giving students and new graduates a chance to join the best and the brightest at Disney. Just think, your intern hires are adding to the talent pool that makes us one of the most successful, innovative companies in the world.
Every single day as a Campus Recruiter is different! On any one day you might:
• Consult with hiring leaders to develop recruiting strategies;
• Conduct candidate searches using all the tools at your disposal and your own resourcefulness;
• Visit a campus to promote our programs to students and administrators;
• Interview candidates in person, on the phone or on video;
• Create a candidate offer package -- and deliver the good news!;
• Discover and share ways to improve our process using industry benchmarking and mentor networking;
• Coordinate/communicate information between candidates and management.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with (or awareness of) full life-cycle recruitment;
• The vision to ensure your talent pool is diverse;
• The ability to understand client needs and deliver accordingly;
• Interest in researching industry trends to expand your knowledge base;
• The spark to be proactive and forge strategic relationships that strengthen your efforts;
• Confidence in your actions, to gain both client's and candidates' trust;
• Strong people-reading skills - you know when the fit is right… and when it isn't;
• A knack for being organized, especially in a dynamic but decentralized environment; and
• Sharp communication skills; and
• Able to bring a background in, or experienced recruiting for, Finance & Accounting
Preferred Qualifications:
• Able to draw on 2 to 3 years of experience in full life-cycle recruitment;
• Familiar with applicant tracking systems used for the end-to-end hiring process;
• A pro at recruiting students specifically; and
• A calculated risk-taker who isn't afraid to step outside of the box.
Required Education
• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent substitute.
