Analyst Global HR Operations (PH)
Job Summary:
This position will provide Global HR Operations Leadership and Clients with accurate and thorough research and analysis of laws and regulations that impact Global HR Operations, including but not limited to the following areas: immigration, data privacy, leave laws, disability accommodation, records retention, etc. This analyst will have a natural curiosity and passion for research and analysis of the external landscape, including government agency decisions, regulations, bills, laws, etc (both federal and state in the U.S., and international, with a particular focus on APAC/EMEA regions). The analyst will assist in determining how each decision/law/regulation impacts GHRO and our clients, and help to operationalize the relevant changes and educate our internal and external partners. This individual will need to create and maintain consultative relationships with our internal GHRO partner and external client/partner groups. This is a Project Hire which will last through Fiscal Year 2019 (Sept 2019).
Responsibilities:
• Research and track changes (and potential changes) in laws/regulations, in U.S., Canada, Latin America, and APAC/EMEA regions
• Educate partners on changes in law and on new laws
• Consult with internal GHRO partners to operationalize needed changes
Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent research skills in regulatory / legal arena
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other systems
• Quick learner & adaptable
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
• Knowledge and understanding of leave and employment laws
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in researching laws/regulations in APAC/EMEA regions
• 2 Years HR functional experience
• Project management experience & skills
• Basic knowledge of immigration laws
• Management/leadership experience
Required Education
• 4 year degree
Preferred Education
Graduate degree in related area (i.e., law/politics, human resources, business)
