Job Summary:
We have a new opportunity to for a Recruiter to join the EMEA Talent Acquisition team, based either in London or Istanbul.
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, this role will offer leading-edge recruitment and sourcing methodologies and technology to deliver best in class talent for the TIGA (Turkey, Israel, Greece & Africa) business.
This role will work closely with the HR Director for TIGA to support the delivery of the people and talent requirements.
The Recruiter is responsible for the delivery of The Walt Disney Company recruitment objectives, through provision of a quality driven, cost effective and timely recruitment service to the TIGA business as well as supporting other Lines of Business / countries across EMEA, where required.
With support and input from the Director of Talent Acquisition, the role will provide advice and recommendations on the range of sourcing options as appropriate to attract the best candidates for The Walt Disney Company.
The role will also act as a business partner with Line Managers to manage the end to end recruitment service to ensure best in class practices through attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection of candidates, to ensure that The Walt Disney Company is viewed as an 'Employer of Choice' in their markets.
The Recruiter will become a subject matter expert for their LOBs / Countries that they support.
This role will also input to EMEA wide COE projects as required.
Whist this role has a primary responsibility for the recruitment for the TIGA markets, due to the agile resourcing model that we offer, the recruiter is expected to support other markets / LOBs when capacity allows.
Responsibilities:
• With guidance of the TA Director (where needed), decide on the most appropriate methodology including direct sourcing, head hunting, advertising, agencies and exploring internal solutions
• Proactively partner and lead relationship with Hiring Managers (up to Director level) to discuss and make recommendations on resourcing issues (temporary, permanent, fixed term) as well as looking at the most effective manner/way to source candidates (True Subject Matter Experts).
• Acting as a trusted recruitment partner, taking ownership for the successful conclusion of recruitment assignments Ensuring delivery of a service that is customer focused, value-add and cost effective
• Attend external agency or internal resourcing briefings and where relevant / appropriate offer advice on role specifications
• Responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment process creating the hiring strategy for the client to fully understand the requirements of each vacancy to ensure the shortlisted CVs are of the quality desired.
• Deliver quality candidates through a range of direct sources to ensure effective delivery of The Walt Disney Company's recruitment objectives, with a strong focus on direct sourcing.
• Create talent pipelines for future requirements where appropriate
• Draft creative and engaging adverts that will attract quality candidates to our vacancies.
• Undertake initial pre-screening through both CV review and telephone screening & with line managers as required, exercising judgement on candidate suitability and influencing and motivating candidates to opportunities.
• Keep accurate candidate details and ensure Kenexa (ATS) database and Ascendify TRM is maintained at all times.
• Be aware of the activities of the TA team to ensure sharing of quality CVs amongst the team for other suitable roles / openings
• Participates in candidate evaluation and selection process.
• Maintains absolute client focus throughout the process.
• Ensuring the global recruitment system (Kenexa) and data processes are fully utilised and all records are kept up to date and accurate (and in line with GDPR requirements).
• Work with the Talent Acquisition Team to promote The Walt Disney Company's employer brand using social media and other tools to generate interest in the company as a great place to work.
• Maintains smooth flow of admin throughout the recruitment process e.g. communication to client, candidate, C&B, etc.
• Responsible for quality and data integrity of all related recruitment information, including all offers of employment via GHRO
• Project work in conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition
Internal Management
• Develop strong relationships with key business clients across agreed client areas (LOB / Country) including senior level leaders (up to Director) and HR Business Partners
Agency Management
• Where possible, reducing agency use to a minimum and being fully cognizant of recruitment budget and parameters and manages self accordingly
External Talent Management
• Proactively engages with external talent and looks for opportunities to build a pipeline of talent.
• Build Disney employee branding, be a brand ambassador
Basic Qualifications:
• Proven experience of end-to-end recruitment in an in-house, RPO or agency capacity
• Experience of recruiting in a Media/Entertainment or a DTC environment is highly desirable
• Experience in any of the TIGA markets would be beneficial.
• Proven experience of delivering direct sourcing across multiple different and diverse roles
• Experience recruiting remotely for roles outside of their base country.
• Fluent in Turkish and English
• Experience in a large, multinational corporate environment preferred
• Ability to operate and navigate in an environment of change and ambiguity
• Skills and Professional Qualifications Required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven, corporate environment
• Experience of using an Applicant Tracking system or similar, recruitment-focused software
• Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other social recruiting platforms
• Experience of managing a requisition list of circa 15 varied vacancies concurrently
• High level of attention to detail and a passion to offer a real quality service
• Be client and customer focussed, accustomed to working with multi-functional groups at all levels
• Proven ability to influence and motivate diverse stakeholders including candidates and, where appropriate, Line Managers
• Familiarity with using recruitment metrics to monitor performance
Additional Information:
Some European travel will be required
