Job Summary:
We are hiring a Benefits Manager, EMEA to join the Walt Disney Company head office in Hammersmith, London on a permanent basis.
As a Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the wider EMEA Human Resources department, the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team partners with multiple internal (e.g. HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Payroll) and external (e.g. brokers and benefit providers, etc) stakeholders to provide a proactive, effective and professional service.
The role will manage the delivery of employee benefits within the EMEA region ensuring legal and regulatory compliance at all time. This role will have a focus on the management of the UK employee benefits for c. 2,000 UK employees but will be heavily involved in EMEA benefits projects.
The role will partner with Global Benefits as well as multiple local HR teams to provide support for cross business initiatives within the region such as wellness activities. On occasion, the role will provide support to the wider EMEA Compensation team during peak periods (e.g. salary review).
Responsibilities:
• Management of the UK employee benefits website, ensuring accuracy at all times and with an ability to recognise and suggest system enhancements from time to time.
• Management of all Disney's UK pension plan arrangements and coordinating all auto-enrolment activities.
• Responsible for the sign off of the UK monthly payroll benefits data and information.
• Interacts regularly with multiple stakeholders including employees, HR leaders, Comms, Payroll, HR Operations and benefit providers to facilitate enrolment, terminations and changes to benefits elections.
• Conducting employee consultations when benefit designs require changes (e.g. pension, risk insurance changes).
• Serves as a point of contact for employee questions related to eligibility, enrolment, claims escalation, insurance coverage and general queries.
• Provide benefits analysis for the EMEA region including but not limited to employee engagement, take up and return on investment.
• Manage existing benefits policies in the UK and EMEA and advise country HR and UK business on the application of these policies in practice.
• Oversight of the discounts and perquisites offered to EMEA employees and management of the distributions and knowledge process.
• Utilise brokers to monitor the competitiveness of EMEA employee benefit plans and ensure legal compliance where necessary.
• Assist with the harmonisation and/or set up of benefit plans following mergers/acquisitions.
• Manage the Benefits team members below Manager level.
• Use advance Excel and investigation skills to regularly reconcile populations and memberships and troubleshoot anomalies.
• Manage expectations and ensure the client (internal or external) receives first class customer service in an appropriate, timely and proactive manner.
• Providing a vital link between HR Business Partners and our providers to assist with the management of any escalated employee cases.
Basic Qualifications:
• Significant demonstrable experience in employee benefits, preferably within a multinational organisation
• Experience working within a multi-national environment preferable.
• SAP & Workday knowledge preferable.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong Excel skills and be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge.
• Ability to work in a confidential environment.
• High level of accuracy, both grammatical and numerical.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ability to work with formulas and manipulate data.
