The Third Floor, Inc. is seeking a strategic and creative HR Generalist with strong organization and communication skills.
Job Functions:
• Assist the HR/Recruiting Manager with the design & implementation of company policies & protocols, including but not limited to employee orientation, training, benefits and compensation standards, attendance tracking, job evaluation, HR records management and legal compliance.
• Perform benefits administration; claims reporting, open enrollment and communicating benefit information to employees. Train all levels of employees on human resources policies and procedures.
• Field questions & resolve issues from active/retired/termed employees regarding health care plans, 401K and general human resources questions as well as other benefit programs and policies.
• Review forms & requisitions, ensure accuracy and enter electronic employee status changes/updates of personal information into the HRIS and company database.
• Support recruiting efforts by assisting with creating job descriptions and postings and coordinating with schools.
• Prepare offer letters, coordinate and organize new hire orientation
• May assist with employee recruitment and internal training and development events
Preferred Skills & Experience
HR Certification
3 years experience assisting HR Management
Detail oriented with an ability to meet film industry deadlines and needs
Familiarity with HRIS systems, Excel (pivot tables)
Great “Soft Skills” and ability to encourage communication and teamwork
Ability to welcome and interact with employees with professionalism, discretion, and an
outgoing, positive attitude
