Full Time Job
The Refinery is an award-winning entertainment advertising agency located in Sherman Oaks. We work with all of the major studios producing creative print, A/V and digital campaigns for theatrical and television/streaming properties. We are currently seeking a professional to manage the projects and resources of our busy print finishing department.
Our employees truly enjoy their 'second family' of co-workers here and we don't attract or retain divas or screamers. We love working collaboratively, unless we're competing in our annual Halloween costume contest. Our partners are available and approachable, and our office culture is casual and homey. We are dog-friendly, sponsor onsite massages weekly, have free catered meals, a fully stocked kitchen, and heels and neckties are rarely worn (unless you're into either/both).
Job Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain a detailed system to track the status of and resources assigned to print projects that are in the Finishing process
• Clearly and consistently communicate timeframes, expectations and priorities with all involved parties to provide project updates and ensure efficient workflow
• Develop strong, effective working relationships with project owners, creative staff and the finishing team to deliver work that meets high quality standards and client deadlines
• Manage use of freelance resources to augment in-house staff
Qualifications:
• Four years of hands-on experience in finishing print production, preferably in advertising, entertainment or another creative industry
• Bachelor's degree and/or project management certification
• Extraordinary communication skills and a proven aptitude for details and organization
• Familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, Trello and Slack or other project management systems
We will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with Criminal Histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
