Full Time Job
The Refinery is an award-winning entertainment creative agency, located in Sherman Oaks. We work with all of the major studios producing print, A/V and digital theatrical and television/streaming campaigns.
We are genuinely nice, light hearted folks and love what we do. We operate without egos and you'll never hear any yelling and screaming in our office…that is, unless you happen to be at our intensely competitive annual Halloween costume contest.
Our partners are available and approachable and our office culture is casual and homey. Dogs roam (ok, rule) the office, onsite massages weekly, everyone dresses as they want (no speedos, please), we have free catered meals & a fully stocked kitchen,
and we go ALL OUT at the holidays.
Enough about us, here's what we're looking for:
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in an advertising, entertainment or another creative industry
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to connect with people at all levels of the organization
• Technical aptitude and experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking systems; prior use of Namely or Greenhouse a plus!
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred, not required
Job Responsibilities:
• Recruiting and staffing of full time employees, freelancers, and interns
• Onboarding/Exits
• HR systems management
• Organizational and space planning for our growing team
• Annual performance management organization
• Benefits administration and communication
• Employee relations
• Employee safety, wellness, and health initiatives
• Coordinate charitable giving and volunteer opportunities
• Initiate and implement HR initiatives, procedures, and policies
