The Lowenstein Company seeks a day-to-day manager to provide support to management team (2-3 managers).
Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the day-to-day manager is to provide support to the managers to make sure they are able to utilize their time effectively. This role is a trusted partner assuming any and all administrative duties for the managers.
This role requires strong organization, problem solving ability, stellar communication, and the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced creative environment while utilizing the utmost discretion. The Day-to-day manager is responsible for ensuring the managers are aware of issues that need immediate attention. This position handles confidential business matters and must maintain a smooth operation of the office when the managers are unavailable.
This job involves frequent interaction with talent and outside entertainment executives. This is not a ''Milton'' type gig. So bring your personality and your ideas, but also your awareness of when it's time to be quiet and crush.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of prior administrative/assistant experience for a senior-level executive in the entertainment industry
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone
* Extremely organized, detail oriented, motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task under the pressure of deadlines
* Expert level written and verbal communication skills
* Strong technology awareness and ability across Mac/PC and related office software. Gmail programs a must
* Proactive, flexible and confident
* Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also a responsible and effective team player
* Maintain contact databases
* Experience with tracking: Attend meetings and listen in on phone calls as needed to take notes, organize, and identify any action items needed
* Ability to anticipate the needs of managers and proactively take ownership of personal duties before being asked
* Able to exercise good judgement and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality
* Passionately committed to punctuality
* Work on a variety of business and personal special projects such as planning events, entertainment, dinners, gift buying, etc.
* Use sound financial judgment when purchasing items, planning events, or coordinating travel by independently researching best deals and negotiating prices
* Able to handle work hours reflective of a lifestyle business
* Have a 'can-do' attitude, be hard working and resourceful
* Highly organized and skilled in time management
* Enjoy a fast-paced creative environment with ever changing priorities
* Must have the ability to adapt to changing technologies
* Ability to interact with talent and VIP's required
* Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
