The Lede Company is seeking a publicist to work within its Strategic Communications division. Ideal candidate will have strong experience in entertainment PR - both on the corporate and consumer side. Experience with lifestyle and fashion brands is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Implement successful media activation plans
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with media and clients
• Attend client meetings and provide ongoing communications and feedback
• Write and edit media materials
• Identify and develop client growth opportunities
• Develop PR strategies, new business proposals, outreach communications and event concepts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing
• 5+ years of media relations experience; agency/client experience is a plus
• Entertainment PR experience required
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Track record of successfully developing media strategies, identifying story angles, developing press materials and securing top tier coverage for clients
• Exceptional judgment when working with media, team members, client contacts and vendors
• Successful in managing multiple short- and long-term plans simultaneously
