The Gersh Agency seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented assistant for its New York office to support a Partner in their books department.
JOB DUTIES:
• Phone management (e.g., roll phone calls, transfer, conference, lead a conference call), with excellent phone manner
• Calendar management, scheduling meetings, etc.
• Expense reports
• Travel arrangements
• Drafting correspondences
• Liaising with internal staff at all levels and external clients
• Interface with clients, managers, film producers, and studio executives
• High volume of reading, script/book coverage, must have ability to evaluate material critically
• Tracking contracts and incoming/outgoing material
• Long hours are routine
SKILLS & QUALITIES:
• Detail-oriented with excellent judgment
• Liaise with key senior-level executives
• Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, high level of initiative
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Dress and speak in a professional manner as client interaction is common
• At least 1 - 2 years prior executive administrative assistant experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred
