Responsibilities
• Communicate on a daily basis with productions including below the line crew, producers, writers, directors, and network and studio contacts
• Strategically pitch and prop our clients' products and brands into targeted television shows, film and digital series
• Execute impactful and organic integrations into targeted television shows, film, and digital series
• Research placement opportunities, upcoming TV and film slates and create target lists for clients
• Research trades and industry resources for upcoming production opportunities
• Read and breakdown scripts for potential integration opportunities on behalf of all clients
• Use our proprietary BEN platform on a daily basis to work on media plans and communicate content opportunities across various departments
• Engage and lead negotiations with content creators on behalf of our clients to implement successful deal terms and integration agreements
• Proactively build new relationships throughout the production community as well as with content creators across all landscapes
• Contribute to daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and quarterly client calls, meetings and brainstorms
• Provide thematic counsel and supervision for all program development and presentation
• Orchestrate client relationship efforts
• Employ a proactive, consultative pitching approach for long-term relationship building
• Pursue and close opportunities
• Manage complex and multiple assignments
• Maintain consistent creativity that meets or exceeds quality standards
• Demonstrate a superior understanding of marketing, production and branding principles while applying to client's business
• Recognize that business results should be measurable and specific
• Prioritize work for multi-level teams and manage multiple assignments successfully
• Persistently seek information needed for quality communications from clients, peers and the marketplace
• Identify gaps and critical issues in programs, projects, strategies; clarify complex problems, ideas, issues
• Communicates ongoing status of business and involves division/office management as appropriate
• Work with corporate management and other departments, divisions, and offices
• Partner with division management to assure appropriate account and division margins through strong budget control
• Keep current with all necessary training to support business and staff growth
Qualifications
and Skills Required:
• 3 - 5 years of experience in branded entertainment, product placement, and/or brand marketing
• Production experience preferred
• Strong negotiation skills required
• Entertainment experience required
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong computer skills, primarily Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage complex and multiple assignments
• Effective people manager/leader; motivates and serves as a role
• Possesses entertainment industry knowledge and contacts
• Accessible to all team members as needed to provide counsel, direction, guidance, etc.
• Demonstrates flexibility and openness to feedback and constructive criticism
• A self-starter who requires little supervision
• Communicates ongoing status of business and involves division/office management as appropriate
• Works successfully with corporate management and other departments, divisions, and offices and ensures that team members do the same
