Business Development Manager (Influencer)

BEN is seeking a Business Development Manager to act as the face of the company to large digital media influencers, as well as key clients and potential clients. Working out of BEN's Sherman Oaks, CA office, this position aids the Media team by building and managing relationships with large media influencers. The Manager will accompany the sales team and play a key role securing additional campaigns. The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge and understanding of Influencers and can profitably communicate and build relationships directly with the Influencer and their representation.

Responsibilities
• Act as an influencer industry leader
• Act as the expert on calls with clients, sales presentations and when assisting the Client Development team
• Promote the success of BEN through long-term goal planning, strategic decision-making, and effective execution
• Act a key player in the strategic planning and material preparation for promotions, new business pitches, and special projects in coordination with the Account Managers and Client Development team
• Develop and nurture relationships with large influencers through preferential treatment and professional coddling
• Establish and reinforce a personal connection with Influencers
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and various project-specific details
• Maintain accurate records within the CRM for large influencers and the campaigns
• Periodically work in Account Management and New Business Management
• Share responsibility for meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Collect and retain information and data on large influencers to be used strategically for pitching and connecting influencers with clients
• Conduct campaign research to be used as basis information for future campaign pricing
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
and Skills Required:
• 5 -10 years proven experience working with digital media influencers
• BA degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field
• A team player who is comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues across different geographies and time zones
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
• Strong computer skills, primarily with PowerPoint
• Strong presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
• Self starter
