Company seeks a dynamic, self-motivated Assistant to support the coordination, management, and development of a popular and established screenplay competition.
The successful candidate will be able to effectively multi-task; have the ability to complete administrative tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; and efficiently and creatively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the group or other related groups.
The candidate will also have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have great organization skills and have the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice.
The ideal candidate is completely fluent in all social media platforms, writes movies and/or television, loves developing and interacting with filmmakers and screenwriters, as well as discovering fresh brave new stories and talent.
*Key responsibilities include:
Work with existing team to support and manage the duties, tasks, and responsibilities involved in the competition.
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have a high degree of motivation and work well both as an individual and within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills required to effectively manage multiple projects at a time.
Ability to interact internally/externally on a daily basis to achieve overall goals and initiatives.
Ability to prepare ongoing activity and status reports regarding campaign activities.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must have the ability to use Excel and Word. Interest in storytelling in the film and television medium a plus.
