JOB TITLE
Seasonal Assistant, Advertising
JOB DESCRIPTION
Baltimore Orioles seek a full-time Seasonal Assistant, Advertising reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Advertising. The position will focus on tasks pertaining to advertising and project management.
• Responsible for coordinating day-to-day advertising across multiple media types.
• Coordinate game-by-game broadcast drop-in schedule including creative development, scripts, and traffic instructions to broadcast partners
• Build and execute internal ad calendar for all in-park signage and drops, coordinate creative and traffic instructions with In-Game Entertainment and other stakeholders
• Assist with copywriting including Orioles.com, email, radio, television, and other collateral materials
• Submit advertising media buy traffic instructions across multiple media types including Television, Radio, Digital and Outdoor by required deadlines
• Maintain advertising calendar for Orioles.com and submit traffic instructions and creative
• Assist with the creative development of advertising assets with internal creative content team and external agency to support club go-to market strategies
• Oversee the fulfillment of Orioles Radio Network contracts including tickets, suites, and giveaways
Qualifications
• 1-2 years of marketing, advertising, agency, or sports management experience preferred.
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising and/or Communication
• An energetic, positive, and enthusiastic personality
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, think creatively, analyze data, and problem solve
• Strong computer skills are required with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a team-first player who works well with others
