Several of us, including myself, come from the world of TV, Theatre and Event Production and those particular skills have been a great asset. We are looking for the perfect combination of Production Savvy and Office Skills - with a winning personality.
Looking for Experienced POC, UPM, Travel Coordinator ready to make a change:
Translate your production skills into the nonprofit sector and make a difference in local communities around the world!
We are a 100 year old women's civic leadership and volunteer development nonprofit based in NYC. We offer a great work environment with excellent benefits and regular travel (3-6 times per year) - not to mention a steady paycheck.
Instead of video production you will be focusing on Board Meetings (15-30 pple) and conferences with upwards of 600 participants.
Required skills that carry over from the production world include:
• Travel Coordination
• Expense Reporting
• People Management
• ''Extreme'' Time Management
• Logistics Support
• Vendor/Hotel Support
• Food & Beverage Fun (think overseeing/coordinating Crafty - with a flair)
• Contact Lists/ Agendas/ Scheduling (think Call Sheets gone wild)
• Calm, Cool & Collected under fire
• Ability to Anticipate Anything
Required corporate skills include:
• Excellent Writing, Editing, Proofreading Skills
• Office Suite: Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook (intermediate - advanced)
• Meticulous Attention to Detail
• Record Keeping/ Filing (PC Based)
• Able to Learn New Systems Quickly
• Creative & Research-Minded
