Search for Paid Intern - PostProduction jobs in Burbank-CA
THAYU LLC, a media development and consulting company, is seeking an enthusiastic post-production intern to handle efficient, high-volume video post-production and digital delivery. The intern would be expected to have a basic understanding of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve with an eagerness to learn workflow and creative editing. Knowledge of physical production and a willingness to jump in on occasional shoots a plus (but if you're here for post and post only, we totally get it). This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a lot and quickly. Attitude and creativity trump all.
Please, don't send a boiler cover letter (we get it, you're all quick learners with a passion for storytelling). Just tell us your three favorite movies and why you love them and attach your resume.
Responsibilities
Log and file footage
Pull selects for editing
Sync picture and audio across multiple cameras and audio feeds
Build rough timelines
Color correction (no color grading)
Occasional help with trailer editing
Data management on retired projects
Cloud management on active projects
Possible physical production (opt-in only)
Track multiple high-volume projects from ingestion to delivery, feature and short content
Basic Qualifications
Entry-level familiarity with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve
Familiarity with Mac Platforms

Interest in feature and short content, narrative, doc and commercial a plus

After 3 months
TIME COMMITMENT
10-20 hours a week // never more than 20, less than 10 possible & dependent on intern's availability
LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
On-site for the duration of the project as supervision and regular feedback as key to bringing value to the intern.
