JOB SUMMARY: The Rangers Village Assistant provides support in the daily functioning of Rangers Village.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Oversee cleaning company and initiative s to ensure cleanliness of Village common areas as well as individual room turns
• Maintain inventory management systems for Rangers Village room supplies, cleaning supplies, office supplies, linen, and recreational equipment
• Assist in acting as a liaison between Village residents and Texas Rangers' IT, Human Resources, and other staff and departments
• Assist with personnel travel to and from the Village, as well as rooming logistics and charting
• Assist with managing maintenance schedules as needed
• Support building security management initiatives
• Assist in maintaining budgeting databases for Rangers Village and Performance Lab needs
• Provide support through scheduling and/or receiving vendors relating to Village programming
• Preform basic housekeeping and/or maintenance tasks as needed
• Maintain off-site-resident mail program
• Assist with clerical duties, data entry, research, mailing, and other miscellaneous projects as needed
• All other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Highly organized with a strong ability to pay attention to details, time management skills, and prioritize projects
• Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness
• Strong level of pride in Rangers Village and its overall operation
• Proficiency in Spanish highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
• Willingness and ability to learn and explain to others: new software, technology, policies, and procedures
• Ability to conduct self in a professional manner both in personal appearance and attitude
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products
• Basic understanding of inventory management, general housekeeping, and general maintenance
• Ability to handle sensitive information in a professional and confidential manner
• Strong interest in gaining experience in the sports industry with a focus in Facility Operations with a willingness to learn/continue learning
• Able and willing to work flexible hours-including holidays, nights and weekends, as required
• Minimum physical requirements are able to lift, carry and transport up to 50 pounds
