This associate producer/researcher for the iHeartRadio Music Awards role is heavily involved in research and communication. They coordinate between producers, talent camps and labels to obtain footage used in the show, whether it be nomination or tribute packages. Alongside this, the AP works directly with clearances to ensure everything is cleared for air.
Before any communication with talent or clearances begins, the AP heavily researches the nominees and artists being honored. The AP creates research documents highlighting facts, stats, links and anything of note for the producers. The AP also participates in brainstorms, writing pitches, creating decks, fact and spellchecking packages, and being available for whatever necessary on the day of show. They must be highly organized, focused and self-sufficient. They must be a team player and able to work with an array of people. Applicants must have real research and footage acquisition experience. Applicants must be very knowledgeable and passionate about music.
The job starts January 13 and ends April 2. The show is is broadcast live on Fox on March 29th.
