''The Pull of Gravity'', a film by Rod Gailes OBC, based on Chisa Hutchinson's eponymous short play. This film is envisioned as one of four thematically tied short stories set in distinct time periods.
''The Pull of Gravity'' is slated as the first of these to go into production at Summer's end. We are seeking crew for the following position:
Sound Recordist:
• Seeking a set-experienced sound recordist who has experience in recording sound on film sets.
• Able to think creatively to solve problems created by particular locations or situations.
• Knowledge of audio equipment and current sound technology.
• Professional, driven, creative, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Must live in New York or Tri-State area
• Candidates with access to their own equipment will be given priority consideration.
This film is a low budget short film (SAG/AFTRA status pending) with a close-knit crew and a great opportunity to work with passionate people. Meals, footage access for reel purposes, and credit will be provided.
Rate is negotiable.
Proposed Production dates inclusive of Check-in & Check-out:
August 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30. Shooting in New York, NY.

Synopsis: To work hard or take the easy road: The ethical quandary of using one's sexual power to influence authority comes to the fore as motherless high school athlete, Zamir, transitions to college in a cycle of trading sex for grades. Jealousy becomes betrayal as conservative college freshman, Louis, actively resents his jock roommate's relationship with their chemistry professor and his resulting ''A'' grade.
