Responsibilities
The Manager, Studio Operations will be responsible for providing front-line management of operational, technical and production support for all Telemundo Enterprises broadcast programming. The Manager, Studio Operations will work with a driven and highly motivated team to support live and recorded broadcast productions for Telemundo Enterprises and provide first in class service to all clients internal and external.
• Schedules, manages and assists as needed the coordination of studio personnel
• Responsible for supporting and providing maintenance to all non-scripted studios through daily checks and reporting/following up on new or current issues
• Responsible for the hiring of staff and any necessary freelance/temporary positions as needed
• Attends planning meetings as necessary with clients to determine resources and logistics required for successful execution of production
• Partners with the Engineering team to execute technical and logistical plans related to studio operations
• Conducts bi-weekly check in meetings to update studio team and provide feedback in group setting or one-on-one
• Conducts performance evaluations for all staff personnel
• Works under the direct supervision of the VP, Technical Production and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by manager as needed
Qualifications
/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a live broadcast environment
• Exhibits a strong overall understanding and knowledge of studio and camera operations
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience leading and/or managing teams
• Fluency in Spanish and English (both written & verbal)

• Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
