Understanding of Dynamics Driven FX Creation
Understanding of Procedurally Driven Dynamics Creation
Proficient with Principles of Character Rigging
Proficient with Principles of Procedural and Non-Procedural Shader Development
Understanding of Geometry, Trigonometry, underpinnings of Implicit and Explicit Surfaces, Coordinate Spaces, Vertex/Data Arrays, etc.
Hands on Knowledge of CGI Core Production Disciplines
Layout
Modeling
Animation
Lighting/Shading
Compositing
Grading
Knowledge of real-time/game-engine development workflows using Unreal
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with CG Leads to support and maintain asset libraries, ensure technical specifications are met
Help in Development of CG FX assets to extend in-house asset catalog ensuring quality standards are met and technical considerations are met
Work with CG Leads to develop parametric solutions to production challenges that are both intuitive and re-usable across the team
Work with rigs and animation data sets helping define and implement workflow improvements and platform flexibility
Collaborate with CG Leads to discover and implement workflow efficiencies
Help support production tasks in a generalist capacity
