We are seeking our very first Human Resources Generalist to join the team. The ideal candidate is hyper-organized, service-oriented, ambitious and is not afraid to dive into new projects. This is an exciting learning opportunity for someone who wants to get exposure to multiple aspects of HR support and would like to develop their HR expertise in scaling an organization.

What you'll do:
• Partner with the People Operations Lead to provide broad HR support for the domestic and global teams
• Provide support in the areas of on-boarding, employee orientation, performance reviews, training & career development, organizational planning, compensation planning, compliance, and employee development
• Assist with on-boarding and both Fulltime and Contract employees
• Demonstrate a high level of competency and commitment to HR best practices and employment laws
• Write, review & update policies, guidance documents, tools, and employee-facing documentation on our HR programs
• Support the People Operations Lead as needed on daily tasks, special projects, administration and programs
• Answer employee questions and when needed refer them to experts, for topics such as Performance Management, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life, Employee Perks, Company Policies, etc.
• Run regular and ad hoc reports from HR systems
• Create and facilitate new hire orientation
• Maintain shared drives, knowledge sharing sources, and current company organization charts
• Assist the HR team in process mapping and planning exercises
• Assist with the development and execution of processes, programs and activities with both culture and HR objectives in mind
• What you'll bring:
• 2-4 years relevant HR experience
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment preferred
• Payroll, HRIS, Benefits implementation experience is a plus
• Experience migrating away from a PEO is a plus
• Experience with Global HR programs is a plus
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to handle sensitive & confidential material
• Meticulous attention to detail
