Full Time Job
The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Clubhouse Assistant and Cook for the remainder of the 2018 season. Responsibilities include representing the Tampa Bay Rays in a professional and responsible way, preparing meals-to-order for the visiting team and travel staff, assisting with clubhouse tasks under the direction of the visiting clubhouse manager and maintaining a best-in-class locker room. This is a seasonal, part-time position that is paid by the hour. This position is outlined for the remainder of the 2018 season. An invitation to return for 2019 is possible but not guaranteed.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare made-to-order meals for the visiting team and travel staff
• Assist with Food Lounge inventory management and ordering
• Take ownership in the maintenance and upkeep of a best-in-class visiting clubhouse with a focus on cleanliness and efficiency
• Fulfill requests from visiting coaching and travel staff
• Anticipate needs of the visiting team and the needs of the clubhouse overall
• Assist fellow clubhouse staff with responsibilities throughout the day and after games
• Be available to assist with unloading the visiting team equipment as they arrive to Tropicana Field
Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Reliable transportation to the stadium when scheduled
• Willingness and availability to work the remainder of the Rays baseball schedule and visiting team unloads which will often consist of late nights, holidays, and weekends. (schedule found at www.raysbaseball.com)
• Pass any background checks or drug screenings mandated
