Film and television development company seeking a very organized and hardworking individual with a knowledge of film, television, theater, and other media. This individual should also have strong reading and comprehension skills. Past experience doing coverage is a plus. Primary responsibilities will include reading and coverage of incoming film and television scripts, as well as new plays. The applicant should have a vast interest in what goes on behind the scenes of the camera as the internship will demonstrate first hand how a project goes from the idea stage to production.
Responsibilities:
- primary responsibility will be reading and covering scripts and plays
- day to day emails, calls, and meetings
- attending plays/workshops/ and networking events
- scouting new writers we wish to be working with
- keeping track of incoming material
Requirements: Students applying to this internships should be a film or theater major.
