The S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University invites applications for a full-time Professor of Practice in the Television, Radio and Film (TRF) department to start August 22, 2022.
Candidates should have significant professional experience as a leader in one or more of the following entertainment business areas:
• strategic planning
• business operations
• business development/strategic partnerships
• distribution/acquisitions in domestic and/or international markets
• content licensing/financing
• immersive media
• talent management
Top applicants are cutting-edge thought leaders and trendsetters disrupting old-media models and serving in leadership roles at companies such as streaming media services, networks, studios, talent agencies and major production companies.
Applicants should submit a cover letter of interest which includes two important areas:
1) Teaching: The Newhouse School prides itself on the high quality of education it provides and its ability to get students job-ready on Day One. Please describe your teaching interests and philosophy of how students best learn.
