As a Lighting Technician, you will perform duties to pull, stage, set up, test, and operate lighting equipment for live events. You will also be responsible for checking in and out lighting products, loading and unloading trucks, returning the products to inventory, and assisting with any range of warehouse operations to track inventory and fulfill show needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Willing to travel
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs, including overtime when necessary.
• 1-2 years of experience in theatrical, corporate, tradeshow, or concert lighting.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, as well as in a team environment
• Understanding of lighting console operation such as set up, programming, and cue taking.
• Knowledge of conventional/LED/Moving Light fixtures, dimming, and lighting control systems.
• Understanding of electrical theory, wiring practices, and electrical safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair of lighting equipment.
• Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership
• Assist in the development of design and production specifications of all concerts and live entertainment to ensure that a production schedule is maintained.
• Assure the maintenance, working quality, and upkeep of all lighting equipment.
