As an Audio Technician, you will perform duties to check in and out audio products, load and unload trucks, return products to inventory and assist with any range of warehouse operations to track inventory and fulfill show needs. This position will also perform duties to pull, stage, set up, test, and prepare the audio product for shipment, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
Qualifications:
• Willing to travel
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs, including overtime when necessary.
• 1-2 years of experience in theatrical or concert audio.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of audio equipment operation such as set up, operation, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of electrical theory, wiring practices, and electrical safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair of audio equipment.
• Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership
• Must have exceptional time management skills
• Assist in the development of design and production specifications of all concerts and live entertainment to ensure that a production schedule is maintained.
• Assist in ensuring all the company-owned equipment is properly maintained.
• Assure the maintenance, working quality, and upkeep of all audio equipment.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
• Familiarity with d&b and EV line arrays. Midas, Yamaha, Avid, and DiGiCo console knowledge helpful.
