Year-Round Senior Manager, Women at Sundance (Outreach and Inclusion)
Are you a champion for advancing equity and inclusion for women from all backgrounds? Have experience curating programs and events for artists across disciplines? Do you excel at building and managing relationships with stakeholders? If so, this role would be perfect for you!
The Senior Manager will lead strategic initiatives to elevate the impact of the Women at Sundance program through artist fellowships and workshops, community gatherings, and pinnacle events at the Sundance Film Festival. The Senior Manager will be familiar with allied organizations working to advance gender parity in media, well-versed in emerging and established women artists, experienced in producing and programming events, comfortable communicating with stakeholders, and excited to discover new ways to grow and evolve the program alongside the changing media landscape. Working closely with the Outreach & Inclusion team, the Senior Manager will also ensure communication and collaborative flow exists between the two programs.
Our dedicated Women at Sundance program began in 2012, when together with Women In Film, we commissioned groundbreaking research from USC's Annenberg Inclusion Initiative to better understand the key barriers and opportunities for women filmmakers. Guided by these findings over the years, Women at Sundance has discovered, spotlighted, and forged ways for women to succeed as storytellers who shape our cultural landscape.

• 5-7 years of experience in nonprofit artist program management or related.
• Extensive experience reviewing proposals for fiction and nonfiction cinematic works, and participating in highly selective curatorial processes.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and understands the implications their actions will have on the organization.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and affect change by applying best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong initiative and an ability to self manage workload.
• Understanding and passion for Sundance Institute's mission.
