Part Time Job
Employment dates: December 11, 2019 thru March 13, 2020
Pay rate: $17.00 per hour
Considerations: This position is temporary and works part time (24 hours per week) in our New York, NY office.
Position General Summary: Assists with the submission and evaluation processes for the 2020 Sundance Institute Theatre Lab.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
• Assists to ensure the submission application, within Survey Monkey Apply, is functional and provides a smooth late applicant experience.
• Tracks all Theatre Lab applicants accurately in Survey Monkey Apply and Google Sheets as directed.
• Proactively reviews Theatre Lab submissions to confirm required information and materials are included and reaches out to applicants to request missing information accordingly.
• Assigns artist projects to contracted readers for evaluation.
• Reads through and tracks reader evaluations of projects and ensures they are meeting deadlines.
• Facilitates intake and processing of Reader invoices as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 1-2 years experience in art non-profit program administration or related.
• Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule.
• Must be able to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, able to audit work to avoid mistakes and perform tasks accurately.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency within Google Suite products (documents, sheets, forms, etc.)
Preferred Education
, Experience and Skills:
• Interest and/or experience in theatre, including knowledge of the NYC theatre scene.
