POSITION OVERVIEW
The Online Screening Lead is charged with overseeing either online public or online private screenings during the 2022 Sundance Film Festival (SFF22). In conjunction with the Manager, Online Screenings, this role will help to lead online screenings for the Festival. Working closely under the direction of the Digital Operations Lead and with the Manager, Online Screening, the Online Screening Lead supports Sundance Institute's commitment to support independent storytellers and advance the impact of their work in the world.
This temporary position works full time and remotely from Monday, December 13, 2021 through Friday, February 4, 2022 with flexible and extended hours. This position is required to work evenings, mornings, and weekends to meet shift needs and must have reliable, high-speed internet connection with at least 10 mbps download speed. A laptop computer will be provided for the duration of the seasonal employment dates.
Top priorities include but are not limited to…
• Ensuring that every public and private screening that is scheduled has the appropriate staffing to deliver a successful screening experience for the audience.
• Providing guidance and support to assigned screenings.
• Supporting in training fellow staff who are assigned to online public and private screenings.
• Supporting the Manager, Online Screenings in ensuring all team members are successfully trained and helping to schedule mock run-through events that will provide practice opportunities.
• Providing recommendations and escalating issues to improve functionality of the Festival Platform.
• Assisting in the process to input all film and waiting room content data into the Content Management System (CMS), and for Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure it is complete and accurate.
• Assisting in the process to make sure our Run of Show (ROS) documentation is accurate and complete, including manual data entry and QA of data in the ROS documents.
• Overseeing the teams during the Festival when the screenings are happening, and providing troubleshooting if issues are encountered.
• Escalating issues appropriately if they are encountered during any online screening.
You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 3 years project management, producing online events, or related experience.
• Strong project planning and problem solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of Zoom and YouTube systems.
• Ability to mitigate conflict and facilitate positive relations.
• Outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a suitable home work environment, free from noise and distractions.
• Previous work at home experience, including managing a remote team is a plus.

• Assist in training online screening teams while utilizing your prior experience.
