Full Time Job
Employment dates: Monday, January 13, 2020 thru Friday, February 7, 2020
Pay rate: $15.75 per hour
Considerations: This position works full time out of our Park City, UT office. May be lodged in Park City during the January Film Festival. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned. A high level of mobility is required as well as an ability to drive safely in winter road conditions.
Position Summary: Coordinates warehouse operations and logistics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepares the warehouse to ensure space is prepped and ready prior to scheduled deliveries.
• Conducts daily inventory and audits of all warehouse items to identify loss and theft.
• Processes merchandise online sales, includes correctly pulling merch items, packing, and shipping accurate orders within the standard procedural timeframe.
• Maintains all safety processes and ensures safety protocols are met at all times, escalates safety concerns or issues immediately to manager.
• Coordinates and maintains a clean and organized warehouse at all stages (pre, during and post Festival).
• Coordinates warehouse distribution and return of magazine racks and publication displays.
• Directs warehouse volunteers to distribute film guides, sponsor publications, and other items as necessary.
• Tracks all tools and equipment distributed to venues or used by Production staff, recording who items are distributed to, if they are returned in working condition, and when they are returned.
• Coordinates incoming Festival equipment, supplies, and gear into warehouse and storage areas.
• Assists Manager with counting inventory, preparing, and shipping equipment and gear post Festival.
• Ensures constant communication between warehouse and all store managers to maintain a consistent flow of product from the warehouse to stores to ensure adequate inventory.
• Ensures warehouse procedures and policies are followed at all times.
• Collaborates with other warehouse staff to ensure successful warehouse operations.
• Responsible for proactively notifying Manager of any concerns or issues.
• Completes a comprehensive written wrap report as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of DMV background check.
• 2 years experience with warehouse inventory, delivery driving or related.
• Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills including self management of work schedule.
• Ability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends around key deadlines.
• Able to move and lift items that weigh 50-75 lbs chest high.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of trust and accountability with inventory.
Preferred Education
, Experience and Skills:
• Familiarity with retail POS software.
• Knowledge and understanding of inventory and stock principles.
