Full Time Job
Employment dates: Wednesday, October 21, 2020 thru Friday February 5, 2021
Pay range: $16.24 to $21.24 per hour (pay rate will vary based on the location),
Location: This position is open to New York City, Los Angeles, or greater Salt Lake City locations.
Considerations: Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned.
Position Summary: Provides best-in-class project management and coordination duties to support marketing initiatives promoting the Sundance Film Festival.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creates and maintains timelines for advertising and other marketing assets to support the 2021 Festival
• Coordinates projects, includes routing edits, obtaining approvals from Marketing leadership as well as internal constituents (corporate team, etc.), negotiating schedule changes, and progressing projects to the next stage in the process.
• Serves as a key point of contact for media outlets, responsible for trafficking digital and print ads for external publications by deadline, executing contracts with Associate Director approval, tracking metrics and media clippings, and facilitating invoicing.
• Manages catalog deliverables, working with the Publications Manager. Liaises with corporate team and external contacts to collect festival catalog ads, and updates and executes publication distribution plan, includes ensuring publications are delivered flawlessly.
• Gathers assets for design and web team as directed.
• Tracks and updates the Marketing and Creative Services budgets. Reviews invoices for accuracy, approvals, and submits to Budget Manager for payment.
• Assists with creating and implementing a marketing post-Festival survey.
• Writes a comprehensive post-Festival wrap report as directed.
• Provides assistance to the Marketing Team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 2 years marketing or related experience.
• Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills including self management of work schedule.
• Must be able to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
• Detail oriented, able to audit work to avoid mistakes, and perform tasks accurately.
Preferred Education
, Experience and Skills:
• Experience in advertising project management and media planning
• Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Google Products.
