Employment dates: We have a group of openings for this role, starting/ending in the following dates: 10/17/2018-2/6/2019 ~ 10/24/ 2018-2/6/2019 ~ 10/31/2018-2/6/2019 & 11/05/2018-2/6/2019
Considerations: This position works full time in our Park City, UT office. May be lodged in Park City during the January Film Festival. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned.
Position Summary: Coordinates guest arrangements and hosts an assigned group of invited guests and artists during the Sundance Film Festival to ensure they have positive experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Initiates communication and relationship with assigned festival guests/artists, after they have been invited by festival programmers.
• Collects, enters, and maintains accurate guest/artist information in the festival database.
• Coordinates all guest/artist benefits; submit for stipends, screening tickets and credentials. May include booking travel, arranging lodging, and coordinating ground transportation.
• Gathers festival guest/artist information for festival publications and website. Proofread content before print and launch.
• Compiles benefit packages and a complete festival schedule of events for each attending guest/artist.
• Assists with setting up offsite, temporary film office as directed.
• Greets and hosts each guest/artist throughout their stay at the festival; distribute benefits, cover key screenings and relevant events.
• Provides assistance with other film office guests, film screenings and events as directed.
• Supervises assigned volunteers to ensure successful guest/artist relations and operations.
• Writes a complete wrap-report, which includes archiving relevant documents and information in the festival database.
• Coordinates thank you letters for guests/artists, and finalize any outstanding correspondence, and dept. accounting.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 2 years experience coordinating guest services i.e. travel, benefits, etc. or related.
• Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills including self management of work schedule.
• Must be able to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
Preferred Education
, Experience and Skills:
• Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Google Products.
• Proofreading online and print content.
