Full Time Job
Employment Dates: 12/3/2018- 2/15/2019
Considerations: This position works full time out of our Park City, UT office. May be lodged in Park City during the January Film Festival. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned. A high level of mobility is required as well as an ability to drive safely in winter road conditions.
Position Summary: Coordinates administrative and logistical duties to support the Festival Headquarters venue operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinates setup, teardown, ordering equipment, furniture needs, signage installation, etc. by deadlines.
• Plans and communicates venue needs with internal stakeholders to have venue up and running by deadline.
• Updates Headquarters (HQ) Visio's and spreadsheets i.e. maps, diagrams, equipment needs, timelines, etc.
• Schedules meetings with internal departments to review and update their office needs, e.g. furniture, linens, signage, equipment, etc.
• Reviews and provides feedback on HQ decor (choosing linens, lamps, flowers, etc.).
• Inventories HQ stored warehouse items and equipment pre, mid, and post event.
• Updates the Headquarters ''How-to'' and reference guides.
• Walks through venue and writes a detailed report pre and post Festival to document existing and new damage.
• Provides daily operational support to HQ venue to ensure successful operations, i.e. performs walkthroughs, removes snow, cleans, organizes, opens and closes venue daily.
• Assists manager with creating volunteer training packets and directing on-site volunteers.
• Performs regular check-ins with each department working out of HQ to ensure prompt resolution to issues.
• Assists vendors and movers with equipment and furniture deliveries as necessary.
• Writes a comprehensive written wrap report as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of DMV background check.
• 2 years experience in venue or event operations or related.
• Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills including self management of work schedule.
• Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Education
, Experience, and Skills:
• Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Google Products.
