Employment Dates: 11/5/2018- 2/22/2019
Our Festival Coordinator, Accounting is a seasonal temporary position with employment dates of 11/5/2018-2/22/2019. This is an entry-level role that supports our Finance team with coordinating administrative and Finance specific logistics job duties specific to our largest program the Sundance Film Festival.
Qualified and interested candidates will need to be able to work extended hours, including some weekends and holidays to ensure deadlines are met and to support the team outside of business hours. Our office hours in Park City are 9am-5pm and this position will typically mimic these hours but can expect to see an increase as we near the Film Festival and during it.
The essential functions and duties of this role include:
• Updates reconciliation materials and the Finance Festival procedures manual.
• Establishes training plans, creates training content and conducts training working in collaboration with other departments as necessary.
• Ensures the delivery of beginning banks, armored car information and change to assigned Festival locations.
• Tests reports for functionality and reviews any procedural issues with personnel.
• Performs and supports Festival reconciliations as needed.
• Assists Finance team with various data entry and processing, as directed.
• Performs end of Festival safe clean out procedures, in coordination with box office, merchandise and theatre personnel.
• Assists with writing a position and departmental wrap report.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 1 year general accounting experience, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule.
• Must be able to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
Preferred Education
, Experience and Skills:
• Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Google Products.
• Experience developing and facilitating training.
• Knowledge of Filemaker.
