Full Time Job
Seasonal Employment Dates: 12/3/2018-2/22/2019
This position works full time in our Park City, UT office and is primarily tasked with assisting with logistical and operational duties to support the Sundance Film Festival Theater Operations Team.
Applicants will need to be able to work extended hours that include some evenings, weekends and holidays to ensure deadlines are met and to respond to on-call needs. Additionally, a high level of mobility, an ability to safely drive in winter road conditions and a valid driver's license is required. After a contingent offer is made you will be required to complete a DMV background check which will indicate if you are authorized to drive for work purposes.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
Assists with orders and deliveries as directed.
Assists with theater load-ins/outs, receiving inventory, etc. as assigned.
Orders, inventories and distributes theater signage as directed.
Sets up the theater operations, production, and transportation festival offices as directed.
Distributes film posters to assigned theaters as directed by the Press Office.
Tracks and maintains team contact information, e.g. phone numbers, schedules, locations, and calendars, etc.
Assists with collecting theatre keys from volunteer theater managers, tech services, production, and IT personnel.
Assists with programming and distributing festival cell phones to the team.
Assists team with timelines, inventorying, ordering, special screenings, etc. as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license and successful completion of DMV background check.
Working knowledge of databases along with proficiency in Microsoft and Google Products.
Outstanding communication skills, telephone, written and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Conflict management skills.
Must be able to maintain confidential information.
Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
Able to lift, carry and push items up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Education
, Experien ce, and Skills:
6 months to 1-year experience in venue/event operations or related.
