Festival Assistant, Technology Logistics - Sundance Film Festival 2019 (UT)
Seasonal Employment Dates: 1/14/2019-1/24/2019
The Festival Assistant, Technology Logistics provides operational support to the Technology Services Department.
Considerations: This position works full time in our Park City, UT tech warehouse. Maybe lodged in Park City during the January Film Festival. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned. A high level of mobility is required as well as an ability to drive and deliver product safely in winter road conditions.
A valid drivers license is required and you must be authorized to drive by our insurance to complete the essential functions of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Hangs digital signage at various venues.
Creates Cisco phone accounts.
Runs tech cables and wires while ensuring safety measures are adhered to.
Sets up, configures, and tests all venue workstations to ensure functionality by deadlines.
Tracks and organizes hardware inventory.
Conducts hardware and software repairs i.e. administering OS and software application updates, patches on workstations, etc.
Deploys network and hardware items to all venues.
Helps to direct and coordinate assigned tech volunteers.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license and successful completion of DMV background check.
Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
Excellent organizational skills including self-management of work schedule.
Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Education
, Experience, and Skills:
Experience with tech workstation and terminal setup.
Basic networking and troubleshooting skills.
