Employment Dates: 10/31/2018- 2/22/2019
Considerations: his position works full time out of our Park City, UT office. May be lodged in Park City during the January Film Festival. Required to work extended hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines. Must be willing and available to respond to on-call needs as assigned. A high level of mobility is required as well as an ability to drive safely in winter road conditions.
Position Summary: Coordinates logistical planning and implementation of event beverage inventory, distribution, and tracking to ensure event beverage needs are met during the Sundance Film Festival.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews event beverage allocation and distribution plans from previous Festivals and adjusts for current year as necessary to finalize alcohol orders.
Works with team members to create beverage allocation and distribution plans for each event.
Schedules, communicates, tracks, and delivers all beverage and point of sale items to and from events and assists with delivery of other event supplies as directed.
Communicates festival beverage plans and needs to the Festival Operations Team as necessary.
Trains and directs beverage volunteers to ensure volunteers understand responsibilities and are effective in their roles.
Plans for shipments to storage space, ensuring space is ready for inventory and safety measures are in place at all times.
Maintains an organized storage space pre, during and post Festival.
Tracks and documents beverage inventory, including consumption counts for each event and ensures alcohol is tracked and accounted for at all times.
Proactively notifies Manager of concerns of loss, theft, or other issues that arise immediately.
Coordinates with Festival Sponsors and vendors on beverage logistics as directed.
Tracks expenses against projected and actual budgets to stay within allocations.
Supports event team with various projects as assigned.
Completes a comprehensive written wrap report as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license and successful completion of DMV background check.
1-2 years experience with event beverage logistics or related.
Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal and professional skills required to work effectively with a variety of people.
Excellent organizational skills including self management of work schedule.
Able to maintain integrity and accountability with inventory.
Ability to work nights and weekends around events and key deadlines.
Able to move and lift items that weigh 50-75 lbs chest high.
