Submersive Media, a NYC based boutique digital agency, is seeking a Social Media Coordinator. The right candidate must possess an understanding of digital marketing, social media, and have a passion for the entertainment space (Movies, TV, Music, Books, Technology, Pop Culture).
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing social media campaigns for clients including strategy, development, and execution
- Oversee social media content calendar for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube (with potential to expand to other platforms)
- Assist in developing and maintaining community management for all owned social channels
- Work with creative department to conceptualize posting content that stimulates/engages social communities while maintaining an authentic voice consistent with brand positioning
- Assist in copywriting for all posts across all platforms so that each post aligns with its target audience
- Deal directly with clients-developing strong relationships with clients and partners
- Conduct social media research and analysis in support of client campaigns. Leverage data and analytics to enhance understanding of social communities, measure performance, and recommend actions via detailed reporting.
- Assist in concept creation and pitch decks to support ongoing business development initiatives
- Knowledge and understanding of the Influencer space a plus
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of social media experience
- Experience communicating with clients and/or brands preferred
- Strong-to-expert knowledge of social platforms and online marketing
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, copy-editing and proofreading skills
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills are a MUST
- Ability to interact with clients using professional interpersonal skills, solutions-oriented approaches
- Must possess an intellectual curiosity and passion for the space. Eagerness to stay abreast of the ever-changing nature of digital media marketing.
- Savvy and knowledgeable about current social trends, innovations, tools, and best practices
- Digital Agency experience a plus
