STYLE Public Relations is hiring a PR Director!
We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter and who can thrive in a deadline driven environment to join our growing team. Candidate must be an experienced publicist with strong media contact relationships to be considered for this position. Candidate must have excellent written and communication skills and must be excellent in multi-tasking. Please include salary requirements when submitting your resume.
Primary Responsibilities:
Primary focus is to pitch, follow up and secure reviews, mentions, features and interviews with major online media on a consistent basis
Pitch all client placements and trend stories to celeb media (weeklies, online, broadcast, etc.)
Additional Responsibilities:
Oversee, maintain and develop strong relationships with editors, stylists, and online media to make new contacts
Pitching editorial contacts to get print and digital spotlight
Set and meet weekly pitch goal for the office
Brainstorm and research to pitch specialty press on designers content and write effective pitches for online media
Create strong and compelling pitches that get noticed
Pitch Media, follow up and secure featured placements
Draft Press Releases, Media Alerts and Client Bios for clients
Seeing how we can set current clients on roster with desk sides / local events / NYC activations and event production support
Being a key part of new client meetings and other business meetings when needed. To offer higher level of traditional PR and influencer insight
Lead PR team with monitoring and reporting all press coverage across to all clients
Strategic planning, weekly and monthly client reporting to keep them up-to-date on all PR activity
Oversee production of monthly reports, press releases, new designer newsletter and stylist outreach
Train, lead and keep PR team accountable. Delegate responsibilities on a daily / weekly basis and see to have projects come to a completion

Job Requirements:
***MUST LIVE IN LOS ANGELES OR SURROUNDING AREAS TO APPLY***
Existing media relationships with both long lead, short lead and dot.com editors
Strong knowledge of the PR field including experience in media relations, press campaign development and execution of creative and strategic communication plans
Heavy pitching experience with proven contacts in print
Exceptional at keeping things organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
Candidate must have impeccable time management skills - managing your own time and the time of others
Candidate must take on a leadership role with regards to sourcing, training and managing interns
Must be able to problem solve and manage workflow
Must have strong writing and communication skills
Computer experience is a must
Must be able to lead meetings
Must be proficient with Cision
Experience in Event Planning is a plus
